Finding Rest in Shabbat: Following Yeshua’s Example

As we conclude another blessed Shabbat, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the true essence of this day of rest. Yeshua, our beloved guide and teacher, showed us the importance of observing Shabbat through His actions and teachings. He reminded us that Shabbat is not just a day to cease our labors, but a divine opportunity to reconnect with Yehovah, our Father.

Yeshua said, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27). This profound statement invites us to embrace the rest and rejuvenation that Shabbat offers, allowing us to replenish our spirit and strengthen our relationship with Yehovah.

So as the sun sets on this Shabbat, let us carry the peace and sanctity forward into our week. Just as Yeshua took time to rest, heal, and commune with Yehovah, we too should cherish and honor this divine gift of rest.
